Qi Gong

Qi Gong is a Chinese mind/body exercise that balances the body's energy, or Qi. The movements are flowing and gentle, inducing the body's Qi to also be flowing. Chinese medicine teaches that flowing Qi is necessary for optimal health, flexibility, mental well-being, concentration, a stronger immune system, increased consciousness of breathing and body coordination, vitality and longevity. Participants of all fitness levels will relax, stretch and strengthen their whole body while learning and performing a series of standing exercises. Jim Eskra has had a long time interest in mind/body exercise.

Jim has studied yoga for 36 years and Qi Gong and Tai Chi for 10 years. He is currently taking Qi Gong courses from Jon Sidoli who has taught Tai Chi at NNESRE.
