Singing together can fill our hearts and spirits as well as our ears! It allows us to create something amazing that we simply can’t do as individuals, and can be both deeply moving and incredibly fun! A song smorgasbord, from doo wop to world music and gorgeous to whacky. We’ll sing all kinds of songs &mdash mostly in parts &mdash including rounds, folk songs, jazz, movement and body rhythm pieces, musical games, songs for off-the-wall fun and for quiet strength. No experience is necessary. If you like to sing, join us! This class has all different material from my 2007 class. Handouts will be given of all songs and activities.

Joanne is a nationally renowned music educator, composer, performer and community choral director. Her original songs and rounds have been widely recorded and published.
