Through improvisation games, acting exercises, movement and voice work we will explore taking risks, getting our creative juices flowing, laughing at ourselves, and being in the moment. We’ll work on scenes, songs, stories, and poems based on the Winni week theme, “Everything Old is New Again.” I encourage students to bring material that excites them as well as any scenes, songs, or monologues that you would like to work on. We will explore the questions: How do we create theatre that explores the beauty and questions of life while providing hope to our search for meaning? And, how do we as creative performing artists express our faith traditions?
Heather is a professional actress and educator of theatrical arts in Seattle where she also directs musicals and choirs.
